Custom Chutes redesign reaches new heights

Custom Chutes is a company specialising in the design, manufacturing, and sale of custom wind-dispersed promotional products, especially custom parachutes and inflatables. They create eye-catching, branded parachutes and drop chutes commonly used in aerial marketing, events, and advertising campaigns.

The company offers a range of products including promotional parachutes, high-altitude chutes, air dancers, and other inflatables designed to boost visibility and engagement for brands.

Custom Chutes were looking to improve on their existing website. The brief covered a visual refresh of the website and a reorganisation of the content, allowing visitors to find relevant information via a new navigational UX and content structure. Data was suggesting that more visitors were using mobile devices to access the website, so optimising page weight to reduce loading times was an essential factor to the update.

To complement the new design, a rebuild of the custom chute designer feature was proposed. The updated version was to introduce admin level features to configure the tool’s options and new frontend improvements to allow for improved positioning of text and artwork on the designs would be welcomed. The tool would be overhauled to reduce labour for Custom Chutes and make the design experience more fulfilling for the user.
